lost in the TD-6. Before performing the update, be sure to back up any information you wish to keep. Standard MIDI File Update Procedure: Required Equipment: 1. UPDATE DATA (SMF Files) 2. Computer 3. Computer MIDI Interface 4. Sequencer software (or any software that will play Standard MIDI Files) 5. MIDI Cable. Update Procedure: 1. Turn off the power to the TD-12. 2. Turn on the power to the TD-12 while holding [REC] and [SETUP]. You will see TD 12 MIDI Updater. Please send update SMF data. 3. Play the MIDI files in the correct order from the computer. 4. After the last file has completed, the KIT button will flash and Writing flash memory will show in the display. 5. The TD-12 will display kit 1, V Stage, when the update has been completed.. Factory Reset Procedure: After performing the system update you must reset the TD-12 back to factory settings. Follow these steps to perform the Factory Reset: 1. Turn the TD-12 on. 2.
