1999 was the first Aviv Barley Search conducted by the Karaite Jews in the land of Israel, in the modern era.
The details for this inaugural Aviv Search are less comprehensive than for later years.
The 1999 result is anomalous when compared to the succeeding 13 years' results.
This could have been due to inexperience, inaccurate definition of Aviv Barley, extreme weather conditions; who knows?
Perhaps the 1999 Report would have been different, had the searchers known then what they know now, after many more years of
study, practical experience and familiarisation with the Aviv Barley Search procedure.

Bob Pickle published this paper, Karaite Reckoning on his site, www.pickle-publishing.com in 2004. He included data
from the Aviv Barley Search Report archives found on the Karaite website, www.karaite-korner.org.
In defense of his Seventh-day Adventist agenda, he selected exclusively, data from the inaugural 1999 Barley Search.
By the time that his paper was published, there had already been another 5 Annual Karaite Barley Searches, and 5 NEW
Aviv Reports on www.karaite-korner.org from which he could have quoted.
Surely 6 annual Reports give a much more accurate picture than a single one?
However, Bob Pickle neglected / forgot / failed / omitted / declined / refused to mention any of the damaging Aviv
Reports from 2000 2004 AD. Surely he must have been aware, as he waded through 6 years of archived reports to find
the original one, that there was considerably more evidence pertinent to his topic?
Had Mr Pickle been more thorough / conscientious / guileless, he would have listed not just ONE, but SIX Reports:

In the ensuing years since his paper was published, there have been another 10 NEW AVIV REPORTS.
Yet in those 10 years, Mr Pickle has not bothered to correct the desperately out-of-date information re the modern Aviv
Barley Searches in his inaccurate paper, to reflect this damning evidence against Samuel Snow, his Millerite partners in
fraud, Ellen White, LeRoy Froom's lying Research Committee, and the entire Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mr Pickle encourages his readers to go to the website www.karaite-korner.org to investigate this topic for themselves;
how many of them would bother? His implication is that, should they do so, they will find only evidence that supports
the fraudulent SDA chronology invented by Samuel Snow in 1843/44, and perpetrated by fraudsters ever since.

That is a deceptive impression to give. The True Karaite Reckoning as confirmed by the 15 most recent official Karaite
Barley Searches in Israel, resoundingly implodes these hoary old Seventh-day Adventist myths:
March is the season of rain in Israel, which prevents the barley from ripening near the Vernal Equinox.
Barley in Israel cannot possibly be ripe in time for the Feast of Unleavened Bread before mid April to early May.
The Rabbinic Passover always falls 1 month too early, before the True Karaite Passover.
The true Karaite Passover can never fall as early as the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox.
The Crucifixion must therefore have fallen on Friday 27th April, 31 AD.
The Day of Atonement in 1844 AD must therefore have been 22 nd October.

One has to wonder WHY is Bob Pickle so selective and parsimonious with this damning Karaite evidence?
