This series of comic strips serve as a primary source, because they were first drawn by an artist that was close to Walt Disney. They show a difference between how the iconic Mickey Mouse was when he was first created, and how he looks in the twenty-first century. This book is a nonfiction title that briefly summarizes Walt Disney's desire to become an animator, and how he started his own animation company. It also shows how Mickey Mouse made an impact in how he became famous, even known in the twenty-first century. It also contains photos of Disney at work on his animation. Gabler, Neil. Neil Gabler's book is a detailed biography about Walt Disney, telling about how he and his character, Mickey Mouse helped with the rise of a new era in animation. It also gives information about Walt Disney's life before he became a cartoonist and animator, and it will help show how he started up his own animation business from the beginning. It also contains photographs and screenshots of him and his projects.

It will also be useful when showing some comics to show how he started his career with his newly-created characters that would soon become iconic.
