    Dear Human Resources, My name is Heather Svihl. I have 8 years of experience in education.

    I have my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education along with Autism experience. I have completed two-16 week student teaching internships and have completed over 65 hours of in-classroom observations. I am experienced at creating lesson plans, management plans including individual student behavior plans. I am capable of creating IEP'S in preparation for annual reviews and initial meetings. I am experienced with a variety of technologies both in the classroom and out of the classroom. The fact that I am creative allows me to be able to develop unique lesson plans and activities in addition to back up plans in case something goes wrong of doesn't work. I believe in being a team player because within the field of education it is better to work with other educators and plan as a grade level or team. I believe in being flexible because as a teacher you never know what will happen and you have to be ready for anything.
