In non pregnant adults, it is for the treatment of iron deficiency and prevention of concomitant f olic acid deficiency. In pregnancy, it is for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency where there is a concomitant deficient intake or increased need for the B-complex vitamins

Known hypersensitivit y to any components of IberetFolic-500. Patients with thalassemia, sideroblastic anemia, hemochromat osis and hemosiderosi s. Rare instance of hypersensitivit y to folic acid.

The likelihood of gastric intolerance to iron in the controlled-release Gradumet vehicle is remote. If such should occur, the tablet may be taken after a meal.
