Dos and Donts in Malaysia Malaysia is a free country you can do whatever you want here . However, we do have our own customs and visitors should try to observe these practices when they arrive.
1. Handshake is acceptable for both men and women but it is better for a

man to smile to a Muslim woman rather than handshake. A handshake should be initiated by ladies. 2. It is polite to call before visiting a home 3. Shoes must always be removed when entering a Malaysian home. 4. Drinks are generally offered to guest. It is polite to accept. 5. The right hand is always used when eating with ones hand or giving and receiving objects. 6. The right forefinger is not used to point a places, objects or persons. Instead, the thumb of the right hand with four fingers folded under is preferred usage. 7. Shoes must be removed when entering places of worship such as mosque and temple.
8. Some mosques provides robes and scarves for female visitors. Taking

photograph is usually permitted but always ask permission first.

9. Do not wear revealing cloth when entering places of worship and rural

areas.
10. Public displays of affection are not encouraged.

The First Place That You Will Step on in Malaysia KLIA

Erl Line

The high-speed KLIA Ekspres (ERL) links the airport directly with the KL Sentral transportation hub in Kuala Lumpur in 28mins. Trains run from 5 a.m to 12 Midnight. There is train every 15 minutes between 5 a.m and 9 a.m, and between 4 p.m and 10 p.m.While trains run every 20mins outside those hours. The cost of a one-way ticket is RM35. There is no discount on return tickets
20

By Airport Limousines Limousines and budget taxis are allowed to pick up passengers at the airport. You may buy coupons from Airport Limo counters just before you exit the international arrivals gate, or just outside the domestic arrivals gate. Ask for a budget taxi, which is perfectly fine and costs a fixed RM67.40 to get to Kuala Lumpur; otherwise you'll be given a misnamed "Limousine" that costs an extra RM87.40.
