assessment task gives you an opportunity to demonstrate your understanding of how the Internet works whilst demonstrating your skills in web designing and research.

You have been asked to design and create a website that explains how the Internet works and its impact on job opportunities. Instructions to students Identify the target market of your website. Your website should be no more than 5 pages. You may use Dreamweaver or Weebly to create your website. You may work in pairs or individually. All content must be free of copyright material.

The content of your website needs to include- Connecting to the Internet- include here Internet Service Providers, browsers, protocols - The difference between the Internet and the World Wide Web - How to manage security and privacy issues - Information Technology employment opportunities - Describe 2 Information Technology occupations that have emerged as a result of the Internet and World Wide Web being developed. Explain how the Internet may have impacted on the more traditional occupations.
