North Haven Day School- Norman, Oklahoma Mothers Day-Out Teacher 2 year olds class. Prepared lesson plans, assisted with children, and communicated with parents on a daily basis.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE Field Experience I- Fifth Grade: Little Axe Elementary School, Little Axe, OK, Fall 2010. Observed quality discovery learning style lessons in an urban setting. Worked with an inspiring mentor teacher who provided beneficial advice and resources. Field Experience II- First Grade: McKinley Elementary School, Norman, OK. Participated in literacy tutoring and observed lessons focused on literacy in first grade in an urban setting. Field Experience III- Fourth Grade: Jefferson Elementary School, Norman, OK. Spent pre-internship semester in the fourth grade classroom two days a week during the entire semester. Conducted weekly tutoring sessions, developed and implemented lessons across the curriculum, and participated in professional development opportunities. Field Experience IIII- Second Grade: Washington Elementary School, Norman, OK. Exceptionally performed in planning and implementing lessons across the curriculum, professional development opportunities and events, IEP and

intervention meetings, parent communication, and developing classroom management techniques.

Member of Delta Delta Delta: Four year active member, now alumni, participate in functions benefiting our philanthropy St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Member of Cleveland Elementary Bully Prevention Program, Two year instructor o Made weekly visits to the elementary school in Norman, interacting and teaching second grade students about bullying for the purpose of preventing the action on their campus. Participant of OU Relay for Life: Participated in an over night walk on the North Oval of the University of Oklahoma to benefit cancer patients. Raised $135 towards the cause. Participant of OU Big Event: Participated yearly in the University of Oklahoma Big event. A day of community service, where groups of students get together and perform various community service acts in the community.
