Visual rays will be parallel to the axis but may not be perpendicular to the picture plane

3 types of oblique drawings o Cavalier Oblique

Use same scale for all 3 axis x:y:z= 1:1:1 or 2:2:2 or : :

Cabinet oblique Z axis uses half the scale as x and y

o In front view: you do not have to draw an ellipse, just identify the center point and draw a circle with the proper diameters around the center point

o In top and side view: you need to use an ellipse
