Installing the VMC Patch

The VMC patch installation procedure is defined in full under the following notes : 880749 863354

Using the "VM container" component Patching of VMC based AP 7.00 engines

This document will provide direct instructions on how it was implemented on xxx.

Verify the level that you need

Check on the current SAP AP SP Level on the system

As depicted above, SP Level forSAP AP on xxx is SP 11

Download the correct Patch Level

Logon to the service marketplace and locate note 880749 Open the tab "SP Patchlevel". Navigate to your current support package by checking column "Support Package".

Click on the corresponding "Download" link. Select the correct support package level and download the corresponding patch level Upon selecting the corresponding Patch Level. The following screen will be displayed for download

Importing the Patch Level

Use report RSVMCRT_UPLOAD_SCA_FROM_PC to upload the support package patch file. Copy the *SCA files into the correct directory. I have used my C:\ Enter the full name of the *SCA file onto the field

Click execute

Save your work when prompted with a transport request

Upon successful import, you will get the screen below.

Click on the LOG button you will get a confirmation message

Appendix 1 VMC Patch Level before
