FAITH IN ACTION Faith acts now, believes now, receives now.

The Bible says in James 2:14-26 that believing demands action, creates action; it requires performance. It is acting in faith, I mean, acting on the Word that gives God an opportunity to heal, bless, save, deliver and touch us. This simply means that faith is not idle faith is active and active faith makes that which is against us to be for us. When you take action in obedience to God, you will prosper. Obedience to Gods Word is faith in action. When you believe His Word, you possess the thing that His Word has guaranteed. The problem of believing is made simple when we know that it is acting on what God has spoken. It is the doer of the Word that receives things from God. How do we act faith? It is going to be according to the ability of God that is at work in us (Ephesians 3:20). This simply means that to act faith, which is the requisite to receive from God, I mean, to obey Gods Word is not by our own power and might. After we must have done everything human possible, we still have to leave it for God to mark! Prayer: God, give me the grace to act upon Your Word. Make me a doer of the Word, not a mere listener, deceiving myself! Act in me that my works may be holy. Breathe in me that my thoughts may be holy. Strengthen me to defend all that is holy!
