The First Law of Thermodynamics

The first law states that energy is always conserved although it can change forms

First Law of Thermodynamics for special processes

Isovolumetric- no work done Isothermal- no change in temperature and internal energy Adiabtic- no energy transferred as heat Isolated system- no work or interaction with surroundings

The Second Law of Thermodynamics

Heat cannot pass from an object to a hotter object. Heat cant be can't be converted entirely into work but efficiency can be calculated instead.

The Third Law of Thermodynamics

This law shows that all molecules stop moving at absolute zero. Absolute zero equals 0 degrees Kelvin As the temperature decreases molecules move less and less. It is impossible for anything to reach absolute zero

Absolute zero cannot be reached since something can't be completely without heat

The Liquid Particles move more freely
