Long Range Shooting. The Monarchs are converting on .354 of their shots from beyond the arc. Matt Fiorino has converted on 58-of-134 long range shots. He is now only the seoncd player in Kings history to hit 200 triples in a career. Fiorino needs 19 triples to tie Dave Miller for the top spot. Kyle Hammonds has hit 40 treys. Dishing out Assists. Kings is assisting on .639 of their made baskets (359-of-561). Four different Monarchs have reached 40 assists this season. Ian Oakley leads the charge with 76 assists. Matt Fiorino (43), Joe Caffrey (42), Kyle Hammonds (41)are the other Monarchs with 40+ helpers. Kings 15.8 assists per game ranks 37th in Division III. Last Time Out. Kings dropped to 9-14 overall and 4-8 in the Freedom Conference after a 67-61 loss to Manhattanville. Misericordia is now 11-12 overall and 7-5 in league play following a 61-58 loss to Delaware Valley. Coaching Milestones. Head coach J.P. Andrejko is now the second winningest coach in Kings history passing Ken Atkins after defeating Marywood 83-47 on Jan. 3. Andrejko and is just eight wins shy of eclipsing Ed Donohues school-record 201 victories. Andrejkos .617 winning-percentage is the best in Kings history. Free Throw Sturggles. The Monarchs have had a hard time from the charity stripe this season shooting just .620, 246-of-397, on the season. The Monarchs have been better from the line of late shooting .740 over their last seven games (97-of-131). Playoff Race. Kings is currently in a four-way tie for fifth in the Freedom Conference just one game behind FDU-Florham for the fourth and final playoff spot.
