REGULAR MEETING URBENVILLE PROGRESS ASSOCIATION 16TH APRIL, 2013 MEETING OPENED AT 7.35P.M. ATTENDANCE Kerry Brown, Sue Vinall, Lorraine Stubbings, Jim Cook, Thelma Cook, Noel Vinall, Paul Varley. APOLOGIES Sally Quinn, Colleen Scofield, Anne Varley, Anne Humphreys, Gary Verri and Val Brown . PREVIOUS MINUTES Moved Sue Vinall Seconded Lorraine Stubbings that the minutes be accepted as read. BUSINESS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES. Rails have been completed for Cold Room. Council meeting was very successful and They were happy with catering. TREASURERS REPORT moved Kerry Brown seconded Noel Vinall that report be accepted and accounts paid. GENERAL BUSINESS Urbenville Youth Group has closed and placed funds in our General Account. Kerry suggested that left over place mats and caps from Centenary be sold at the school fete The council have offered to send a new flag for the Hall. The padlock for the shed at the Forestry Park is to be replaced moved Noel Vinall seconded Paul Varley. Lorraine suggested we write to TSC about the stop sign at the corner of Beaury and Urben Street. Meeting closed 8.40pm.

Anzac Day in Urbenville

The Urbenville Sub Branch RSL invites you to join them For ANZAC Day commemoration and celebration. 9.30am St Marks ANZAC Memorial Church for a formal service 10.45am sharp Assemble in Urben Street for the formal march down to the Memorial Gates. The community is invited to follow the march. 11.00am ANZAC service at the Gates Anticipating a flyover from the Air Force on the day. The community is invited to join in at the Urbenville Bowls Club after the formal commemorations for lunch, social bowls and monster raffle. Lunch bookings essential .
