ESTROGENOS DE ORIGEN NATURAL: FITOESTROGENOS

Algunos flavonoides y benzopiranos ha sido extensamente estudiados como moduladores selectivos del receptor estrognico. El cumestrol, un fitoestrgeno presente en el trbol y la alfalfa, tiene una propiedades parecidas a las del estradiol, mientras que la genistena se asemeja ms al raloxifeno. Varios homlogos de la Genistena se encuentran en fase de investigacin.
