Julio Goris Spring 2013 Wolcott MWF 9:30 am-10:20 am Greene Journal

Summary In this journal, Greene talked about how argument and how it ties in closely to inquiry and research when it comes to writing a researched argument. He talks about how when crafting a paper for an argument, the argument may be an ongoing one where you have to do some research to be able to hop in and state your point of view. Greene also explained how the framing of your argument is important in helping one build their argument, as it helps you read, write, and do research in a different way, and helps to expand your mind.

Analysis This is a very important article and I can see how it really pertains to what we are doing right now in class with the annotated bibliography. What I got out of Greenes article was to find a topic in my discourse community, research opposing sides (if any exist), and bring it all together culminating in a collection of articles that show the ongoing conversation. The article helped me understand how to truly execute the assignment.
