About The Test

In SFMS we are starting the CST on April 21. I think we are having the test because the state wants to know how good we are doing.

How I Prepared For The CST

I prepared for the cst by working hard in class. Studying at home and doing are homework. Also paying attention in class and not talking.

How Teachers Prepared Me For The CST

Teachers have prepared me by giving me the proper material for the test . They have also helped me by listening to my questions about the subject. Also by giving me quizzes about the topic and small tests .

Test Taking Tips : Night and Morning

The night before I go to school I study from about 45 to an hour to remember everything . In the morning I will eat a healthy breakfast and study my flash cards. Once I get to school I will be focused and prepared to work and to do the test .

Test Taking Tips : During test

Read the questions first and then read the passage. I make sure to read the questions carefully and check my answer. Show your work if necessary.

Math Tips
Show your work on a separate piece of paper. If you dont understand skip it and come too it later. Be sure to think twice before picking your answer.

English Tips
Read the questions before reading the passage. Going back and re-reading the passage if needed. Checking your answer twice .

Tips On Decimals
The system of numbers you use is called the decimal system and is based on powers of ten. Each place in the place value grid is ten times the value of the place to the right of it. Also every number to the right of the decimal point is a decimal fraction.

Tips On Fractions
A fraction or fractional number is used to represent a part of a whole number. Fractions consist of two numbers a numerator and denominator. The denominator tells you the number of equal parts into which something is divided. The numerator tells you how many of these equal parts are being considered.

Idioms
An idiom is an expression . Its raining cats and dogs Dont grab the bulls by its horns. Back to square one. Break a leg .
