Did Draco Malfoy live up to his name?

Defend your position with evidence from th e Harry Potter universe, Greek mythology, and any lexical references we have use d this semester. The word "draconian" comes from Draco, a dragon of mythical origin. This dragon was extremely harsh and foreboding, and showed no mercy to the townspeople that inhabited the village at the foot of his mountain. No matter what the townspeopl e did, they could not assauge the wrath of the dragon, and inevitably met their demise at his fiery breath. The word "draconian" has now come to mean anything t hat is overly harsh or strict, usually with a connotation of evil as well. Draco Malfoy
