Landscape Plan

Our site is located near the top of Mount Ellen in Vermont, USA. This area in Vermont does not require plats to be recorded by the state. No utilities exist. Traffic is not a concern. All plants mentioned in this report are native to the area. All plants are perennial unless otherwise noted. Our plants were chosen with a cool (mainly purple,green, and blue) color pallet. This consistency in color creates unity in our design. The rhythm created by the plants location will help create an ordered feeling. In order to make this feeling not overwhelming, a few yellow flowers will be added. This add balance to what could easily become monotonous.

A grass native to Vermont. To be used as a on the land and the green roof. groundcover both

4. Ceanothus americanus
A flowering bush native to Vermont. To be used to add variety to the groundcover.

5. Gentianopsis crinita
A flower native to Vermont. To be used for aesthetic purposes. Biennial.

6. Utricularia cornuta
A flower native to Vermont. To be used for aesthetic purposes.

7. Symphyotrichum novae-angliae
A flower native to Vermont. To be used for aesthetic purposes.

8. Phlox divaricata
A flowering bush native to Vermont. To be used for aesthetic purposes.

9. Vaccinium myrtilloides
A bush native to Vermont. To be used to add variety to the groundcover.

10. Vaccinium corymbosum


A bush native to Vermont. To be used for midday snacking.
