SECTION 0 GENERAL DESCRIPTION A. Electric Drilling Rig 1. The design and manufacture of the rig follow the principle of advanced, reliable, safe and usable. The whole performance should completely comply with the international standard. 2. Drilling Rig is to be designed and manufactured in accordance with API Standard & Related Standards as Q1, AWS, ASTM, NACE, API RP series, NEC, ISO9001 & others related International Standards. The all main components of rig are in accordance with API Specifications & Official API monograms Standards IEEE Institute of Electrical and Electrics Engineers. 3. We adopt advanced and reliable technology in the world. It promotes the performance of assembling parts and auxiliary parts. 4. Conforms to the requirements of HSE, the rig have a good performance on the proof of explosion, leaking, wetting, cold and high temperature. The surface of the main structure should be required sandblasting. The bottom painting is F53-31. 5. The drilling rig equipments and the blocks are assembled and delivered entirely. It will be convenient for adjusting. 6. All the apparatus adopt international units and English units (Mpa/Psi) and all the signs are noted in English and Chinese. 7. Min. floor height is 3m when it locates at low position. Two buffer cylinders for substructure and two buffer cylinders for mast lifting and lowering. Corrugated V-door pipe ramp, escape slide , 2 B-type snub lines piles, 2 air winch base, 3 stairs which one is on right (face drawworks) to 1# mud tank, one is on rear floor to ground level, the other is adjacent to V-door ramp, the width of each stair is 800mm. SECTION 8 MUD SOLID CONTROL SYSTEM A. General description The system is composed six tank of 320 m3 (2000bbls) and equipped with shale shaker, vacuum degasser, centrifuge, mud cleaner, agitator, mud gun, mud mixing system and necessary accessories. There also set four sets of clear water tanks, all tank surfaces are equipped with anti-rain shed. Shale tank has four compartments of 40m3 including measuring compartment, sanding compartment, desanding & degassing compartment and pump compartment. Measuring compartment capacity is 10m3. Tank top is equipped with four shale shakers, one vacuum degasser and one agitator. There are one desanding pump in pump compartment. The lower part of sanding compartment is closing type and one measuring pump is installed. Desanding & desilting tank has four compartments of 57m3 including pump compartments, desilting compartment, centrifuge compartment and storing compartment. One desanding & desilting cleaner and one middle-speed centrifuge are installed on the top of tank, which equipped with three agitators. Pump compartment is at the end and equipped with one desilting pump. Intermediate tank is 60m3 and divided into three compartments (two storing compartments and one centrifuge compartment). Tank top is installed with one VF speed-regulation centrifuge and equipped with three agitators. One mud laboratory3.5mx2.0mX2.5m is installed on the right side near to centrifuge, which is divided into two compartments. One is mud laboratory including clean-water reservoir, working table and water in/out system; the other compartment has eye wash station and sprinkle system. Mud tank is 47m3 and divided into three compartments including storing compartment, weighting compartment and pump compartment. Tank top has one tiltable weighting material shelf, two jetting hoppers and two agitators. Two weighting sand pumps are installed in pump compartment. Reserve tank (also shearing tank) is 55m3 and divided into three compartments including shearing compartment, reserve compartment and pump compartment. Tank surface has one cyclone hoppers and three agitators. There set one shearing pump in pump compartment. Suction tank is 56m3 and has three agitators on tank surface. Three mud pumps are connected with this tank and suct mud by suction pipline. Four clear water tanks are in line on the rear of mud mixing tank. Total capacity of two water tanks nearing mud mixing tank are 55 m3 and composed of pump compartment and water tank. The other two tanks are 60 m3. The connection among the four tanks is finished by clear water pipelines. The transportation into each position on site is done by water pump. One liquid-gas separator are on the end of shale shaker tank and connected with diverting pipeline, chock pipeline and flow line. Anti-rain shed is made of steel with 3mm arc top. Each shed top can be integral hoisted and removed. The top and body takes 100mm squard steel pipes as support and fixed with pin roll. The top connection is done by cover plate. Lighting devices and wiring pipe are installed on the shed top and neednt be removed during transportation. Anti-rain shed is equipped with transportation sleigh which is convenient for packing and transportating. Main parameters and performance: Each tank is located on an oil field type skid. Technical description Solid control system Each motor above 20KW supply power separately. Control unit is in panel box in VFD/MCC room. Power line and control line are put onto motor along cable tray of tank side through EX power switch box on the end of mud tank. Perform local control with EX control button on site. Each motor below 30KW is powered by VFD/MCC. EX magneto starter is located in EX power panel box and EX control box shall be located favorable location on tank surface, centralized control and local operation. All switches are equipped with locking-stopping device, The connection among tanks adopts connector; cables of device on tank surface is put to each device through galvanized pipe from tank side. Cable go into motor by EX hose after shrinking on the end of steel pipe with EX fence. There set three sets of double-tube EX fluorescent lamp for each tank; there set one set of double-tube EX fluorescent lamp for desanding pump, centrifugal pump and shearing pump. Agitator is controlled by EX control switch and perform local operation. Shale shaker, combined mud cleaner and centrifuge have power supply and equipped with controller itself. SECTION 13 INSTRUMENTATIONS A. 1 ea Drillers control cabin Features Room to accommodate brake control, drilling instrumentation, air control, VFD control, and others control are all located in this cabin. This drillers control cabin is the control center of rig where driller operates and monitors drilling condition. The rig operation is conducted by driller from drillers chair, having clear view of drill floor, monkey board and traveling block. C. 1 ea Drill watch system The drilling monitor displays all parameters in touch screen to convenient for observe data by drillers man and decide the drilling operations. The whole system consist of 9 set measurement system, i.e. weight of hook measurement system (include weight of hook), stand pipe pressure measurement system (pump pressure), rotary table torque measurement system, rotary table speed measurement system, tong torque measurement system, parameters related to mud (include SPM, mud flow, mud volume, etc.), and well depth measure system (including bit position, etc.). Besides, also complete with display console, industrial computer, sensors, DAQ, pressure transducer, power supply, UPS, hoses, cables and installing assemblies. The system consists of sensors, DAQ system and host processing system. Sensors transmit the original signals to electrical signals, and the electrical signals are processed in DAQ then they are read on meters and input to host processing system. Computer will store and process the data. In addition, alarm is available when there is an abnormal data. Touch screen which is installed in drillers cabin will display all the parameters for easy watching. Whats more, weight of hook, rotary table torque, and stand pipe will be show through traditional gauges. Also, these traditional gauges are mounted in drillers cabin. DAQ is an important component in the whole system. It acquires and processes the signals,

then input to computer to display or alarm drillers man whenever necessary. The whole system is communicated through 485 fieldbus. It will help system to realize intelligent control as well as process, storage, printing, and remote transmission of data. The company man offices are furnished with the system to monitor the data real-time. Weight of hook: the signal comes from the pressure sensor which is installed on deadline anchor. The scope of measurement is 0-4920KN. Rotary table speed (RPM): the signal comes from the proximity sensor near to the input shaft which is between rotary table drive motor and gear box. The scope of measurement is 0-300RPM. SPM: the signal comes from a proximity sensor which is installed near to driving shaft. The scope of measurement is 0-200SPM. Rotary table torque: the signal comes from the current transformer. The scope of measurement is 0-62KN.M. Stand pipe pressure (pump pressure): the signal comes from a 2sensor assembly standpipe manifold. The scope of measurement is among 0-40Mpa. Tong torque: the signal comes from tension load cell assembly. The scope of measurement is 0-100KN. Well depth: the signal comes from rotary encoder which is equipped on the left side of drum. The scope of measurement is 0-9999m. Mud flow: the signal comes from mud outlet flow sensor which is installed on mud outlet return flow pipe. The scope of measurement is 0-100%. Mud volume: the signal comes from ultrasonic sensor which is installed on the surface of each mud tank. The scope of measurement is 0-80m3. D. 1 ea TV monitor Function Monitoring area: monitor the pump area, tank area, drum and racking platform simultaneously. Four cameras (four with tilt heads) are controlled by control panel; their images are displayed on the 21 LCD monitor which is located on the drilling operation panel, in the form of single channel or four channels synchronously.
