PART 1: By the end of February, you will decide what makes an interview a good one. will identify questions that encourage friends and family to tell their stories. will be able to understand better when people tell their stories in English. will decide as a class the dos and donts of interviewing: the top ten things to do and things not to do when you are interviewing someone.

PART 2: By mid- April, you will interview your child, choose an interesting story he or she tells you, and write that story. will interview another family member or friend, chose an interesting story he or she tells you, and write that story. will review and use a more detailed description of characteristics of good and bad interviewing. will design and put together a Stories Book that includes these stories from all class members.

PART 3: By the end of May, you will interview a fellow student and record that interview. will be interviewed by your partner and record that interview. will listen to each others interviews. will organize and produce a class CD that includes these interviews. will write one stories from the interview and include it in the printed class Stories Book.
