    ROOTED will be successful if it develops a sense of community among 18-25 year olds by providing opportunities for friendship, encouragement, and spiritual growth. It will also assimilate this age group into the larger church body by encouraging participation in services, ministries, life groups, giving, and membership. Additionally, ROOTED aims to support students away at school through communication, check-ins, resources, and assistance connecting to local churches or campus ministries. The goal is for 18-25 year olds to experience and participate in incarnation, invitation, celebration, and renovation through Jesus Christ.

    ROOTED is successful when

    We develop a sense of community and connectedness among our 18-25 crowd through opportunities to: o Develop friendships and connect relationally o Share struggles, encouragements, prayer requests, and general life-stage issues o Grow spiritually We assimilate our 18-25 crowd with the rest of the Body at TerraNova by encouraging them to take next steps by: o Attending main service o Serving in a ministry o Joining a LIFEgroup o Giving financially o Becoming a member o Forming relationships with those outside of their life stage We create a ministry or community that feels like a home base to students who are away at school during the year by providing them with: o Communication from TN o Support for things theyre dealing with; checking-in with them and providing long-distance shepherding; providing any needed resources for issues, questions, interests, struggles, or more o Assistance to connect them to a local church or campus ministry We lead the 18-25 crowd to experience and participate in expressions of: o Incarnation/Invitation: putting skin on Jesus & helping others know Jesus o Celebration: worshiping Jesus o Renovation: becoming more like Jesus
