ImperialismwasthebiggestfactoroutofthethreefortheunderlyingcauseofWorld WarI.OneofthemostimperialistcountriesinthewarwastheUnitedKingdom.theyhad 12,740,000sq.milesofcolonialempires,whichhadapopulationof400,000,000.The tripleententehadatotalof17,180,000sq.milesofcolonialempires,andthetriplealliance hadatotalof1,139,000sq.miles.Thelargerthepopulationofthecolony,thelargerthe revenue.Revenuehelpedpayformanyaspectsofthewar,ifnotallthewar.
