Note: all directions are written as if looking at the stage Scene One Narrator will act as if she is about

to tell a story (maybe from a book). Andria enters from stage right and will come to the front corner of the stage where there is usually a podium (there should be a spotlight). Narrator will remain on stage in this spot and be spotlighted during lines (dont move around; try to pause so attention is on the other actresses) Stage will be dark while narrator is talking and Gold, Azuwa, Coral, and Money need to be situated before lights are turned on and narrator is finished. Gold exit stage right, Coral exit stage left, Money exit stage right Light will be off Azuwa will remain on stage for next scene Scene Two Narrator says line from same location (maybe motion at Azuwa for emphasis or something) Azuwa exits stage right Scene Three Gold enters from stage right before lights are turned on Servant enters on left side of the stage searches right side of the stage to find Azuwa on the ground singing Servant brings Azuwa to Gold after she is ordered to Servants waits for mothers rejection and drags out the mother Scene Four Servant acts as if she has discovered a noise and knocks to enter the home and report her findings Narrator starts to talk as lights dim and we have a glimpse of the mother being thrown out before lights go out Scene Five Azuwa is off stage singing Servant enters from right stage when called Servant disappears on stage left and returns with cloth or something to place on the ground Azuwa wonders on stage humming and reaches the path the servant has laid out Servant exits stage (left or right doesnt really matter just be consistent) Mother and Money remain on stage for the next scene Scene Six Lights will turn on and the mother and daughters need to be on stage At the end lights will fade, mother and daughters should hug or something at the end
