THIS YEARS SPELLING BEE WILL HAVE ROOM FOR ONLY THREE AUDIENCE VOLUNTEERS WE ARE LOOKING FOR DIVERSE AND INTERESTING SPELLERS WHO ARE CONFIDENT AND IN IT TO WIN IT SO WE WILL NOT TAKE ANY SPELLERS WHO WE FEEL WONT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY. IF YOU ARE CHOSEN AS A SPELLER, WE WILL CHECK YOU IN BEFORE THE SPELLING BEE BEGINS AND ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. AT THE START OF THE SPELLING BEE, MS. RONA LISA PERETTI WILL ANNOUNCE YOUR NAME AND YOU WILL WALK ONTO THE STAGE FROM THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE AUDIENCE, WHERE VICE PRINCIPLE PANCH WILL GIVE YOU YOUR NUMBER CARD AND ESCORT YOU TO YOUR SEAT. ONCE THE SPELLING BEE HAS BEGUN AND YOUR NAME IS CALLED BY VICE PRINCIPLE PANCH, YOU WILL STAND AND FIND YOUR WAY TO THE MICROPHONE. TO ENSURE THAT THE SPELLING BEE GOES BY QUICKLY AND SMOOTHLY, WE ASK ALL SPELLERS TO FOLLOW THE FORMAT BELOW. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Go to the microphone when your name is called. The judges will give you the word. Please restate the word into the microphone. Ask for a definition of the word. Ask for the word to be used in a sentence. Attempt to spell the word.

*If you spell the word correctly then the judges will tell you, That is correct and you may take your seat back on the risers with the other spellers. If you start to spell a word you may start over but the sequences of letters already spoken may NOT be changed. If you misspell a word, the judges will ring the bell and the comfort counselor will escort you offstage. If you take too long on a word, the judges will ring the bell and the comfort counselor will escort you offstage.* PLEASE NOTE THAT IF, BY CHANCE, THE SPELLERS BREAKOUT INTO SONG AND DANCE THEY MAY INSTRUCT YOU TO DANCE WITH THEM.
