Course Title : General Psychology III. Course Description Human life is a constant interaction with self, with other creatures, and with the environmental at large. Human beings are unique and endowed with freedom. They have different types of personality. They are being formed of their environment in which they belong. Thus, it is really hard to fuse their ideas into one. What they need is to understand ones behavior and not to impose ones behavior to other. This course is designed to help the students understand the different types of people with varying behaviors and to understand why people act in different manner in respond to same stimulus. Moreover, this course also will tackle the different Filipino personalities. CKC VISION Christ the King College, a Catholic Franciscan Institution in Calbayog City, envisions itself as the center of the development of Human Resources and of excellence in education, with the special focus on Christian formation and preferential option for the poor, thereby contributing to the local, national and global progress. CKC MISSION Christ the King College commits to the integral formation of the students, the promotion of excellence among the members of the school community, and the relevant research and projects for the transformation of society. IV. Objectives General Objective After one semester of teacher students interaction and discussion about General Psychology, the student will be able to know and adjust the different types of behavior in the society and live life accordingly. Specific Objectives After one semester of teacher students interaction and discussion about general psychology, the students will be able to: 1. Appreciate the importance of psychology in everyday life, 2. Know the impact of human development to the behavior, 3. Understand their own personality and behavior in relation to others, 4. Understand the ill effects of Prohibited drugs; and, 5. Apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to the real life situation. V. Strategies

Lecture/discussion, sharing of experiences, reflection paper, term exams, oral exams, and actual application of knowledge learned to the society.
