Use the wrench to compress the ball joint to its inner stop position. Set the dial indicator to zero.

Other special equipment: 9808092 9812528

Separate and open the ball joint to its outer stop position using the lever 1158289. Read the dial indicator. The maximum permitted axial clearance is 2 mm.
