Hydraulic Systems Control of Hydraulic Motor Rotation Exercise 5

Task: To install the components of hydraulic motor and control systems by following the procedure as below; Exercise Aim: 1. Understanding of structure and function of hydraulic motor 2. To know and explain about the difference of motor rotation and speed 3. Installing and commissioning hydraulic components Required part list 1. Hydraulic Motor 15035 (1 piece) 2. 4/3 way valve with PT bypass 15043 (1 piece) 3. Pressure gauge 15070 (3 pieces) 4. One-way flow control valve 15061 (1 piece) 5. Pressure relief valve, pilot actuated 15051 (1 piece) 6. Shut-off valve 15063 (1 pieces) 7. Hydraulic Hose. Procedure a) Understand about structure of each components b) Prepare the required parts according to the above list c) Compose system according to the circuit diagram d) Check the connection part and any leakage oil e) Call your Lecturer / Technician for verifying the assembly unit f) Turn ON the hydraulic power g) Set the pressure to 5.0 MPa (50 bar) with a pressure relief valve
h) Adjust the flow control valve so that the hydraulic motor revolutions and speed is controlled

i) Record the pressure reading for P1, P2 and P3 during clockwise and anticlockwise revolutions in the table below j) Turn OFF the hydraulic power after practice k) Dismantle and arrange the components
