THEORY Project management is an important aspects of the development of information systems and a critical skill for a system analyst. The focus of the project management is to assure that system development projects meet customer expectations and are delivered within budget and time constraints. A project manager has wide variety of techniques available for depicting and documenting project plan. This planning document can take form of graphical or textual report, although graphical reports have become most popular for depicting project plan. The most commonly used methods are Gantt and PERT (Program Evaluation Review Technique)chart to build project schedule. There are four steps in developing project schedule : a) Identify all individual task for each activity using SDLC standard as a guide.

b) Estimate the size of task c) Determine the sequence of identified task d) Schedule the task themselves

PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT

1. Based on your title project in Project Documentation Proposal, plan the Project Schedule. 2. Make a research to identify the project requirement (system request, project flow and cost budgeting) 3. Use Gantt chart to show the milestone based each your activity (task name). Please refer the example of gantt chart below :
