= Sumerian Zubaba Hurrian ari lion

- Buccellati (2009) : dedicated to Kumarbi, - Wilhelm (1998:11920): AN PIRI-GAL = dNergal (KI.GAL). Laroche (1980) did not even create an entry for Nergal in his dictionary, so that it would be astonishing that Nergal would be a deity of any significance among Hurrians. - The theonym Nergal is listed in Laroche (1980:219) under the entry aumadari: dU.GUR aumadar, umadari somagiving sword, dNERGAL umadari soma-giving Nergal. The cooccurence of Nergal with dU.GUR Vajra sword, (a)umadari soma-giving shows that Nergal is in fact the IndoIranian god of war Indra.
