The Plan
After Hugpo Hulitanhon, Inc. was established on 24th of August 2012, the first humanitarian project was planned and organized in our hometown Julita, Leyte. The project was named as Medical Mission 2013.
The Goal
The goal of Hugpo for this humanitarian mission is basically outreaching our fellow constituents, who are less fortunate and unable to attend their medical needs due specifically to their location and monetary condition. In addition, this mission has unified the volunteers with their respective constituents. This Medical Mission 2013 had provided the following basic medical assistance: Distribution of basic medicine Dental care to infants, children & adults Health check to infants, children & adults Blood pressure check-up Distribution of drugs information leaflets Watch the slideshow
Right after the medical mission, the remaining Basic Medicines were equally devided and distributed into four (4) Districts and twentytwo (22) Barangays of Julita. This is for those constituents who were unable to attend the medical mission will still benefit the said medicines. The remaining prescribed medicines were donated to Julita Rural Health Center and received by Rural Health resident doctor, Dr. Jose Baranda.

Medicines for common illnesses such as cough colds, head aches and vitamins were handed out when prescription shown.
Hugpo Julitanhon, Inc. gave away leaflets to all patients to increase their awareness about the effects of Drugs to people and its community.
All these materials were donated by the DRUG FREE WORLD. We received 5 boxes and distributed all over Julita.
The Beneficiaries
1,353 Julita constituents were served in the three (3) day Medical Mission 2013.
PLUS, the remaining medicines were divided and distributed to all barangay leaders to be handed over to those in needs of basic medicines. The remaining prescribed medicine was donated to RHU and received by Dr. Jose Baranda, Julita RHU local doctor.
Freebies
Blessings were overwhelming during the mission and the food was abundant. There were unknown donors who provided snacks. The food was shared to all patients especially to the oldies and the children around the mission sites.
Gratitude
Once again, on behalf of HUGPO Julitanhon, Inc. we wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who had been with us for the three day Medical Mission 2013. The mission was so tiring task but truly gratifying considering people particularly those infants, children, adults and old ones being taken cared of. We are hoping seeing you all someday not only during Medical Missions but hopefully with future projects of Hugpo Julitanhon, Inc. Thank you and God bless us all!
