In qualitative studies, the researcher is considered to be an instrument in the research by involving themselves in the whole process of the study.

This means that the researcher is a full participant in data collection by interacting and collaborating with the participants. The researcher also had a seminar regarding the interview process to have a thorough understanding of the concepts in constructing good interview questionnaires. In order for the researcher to be eligible to conduct the study, the qualitative researcher must be able to describe relevant aspects of self, including any biases and assumptions, any expectations, and experiences. The result of this study will serve as the basis in the development of the documentation.
