This first DVD was approximately 4 minutes long and was very interesting because it shows with exceptional clarity and detail, the things I have been seeing during my battle with this illness. That's why they've pressured the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to assemble a team of scientists who will determine whether this disease is in fact for real. The 13-member team is expected to share their findings within the next two months. "We're not ready to concede there's a new disease," says CDC spokesman Dan Rutz. "But the volume of concern has stepped up because a lot of people are writing or calling their congressmen about it because they're frustrated that there's been no organized way to deal with their suffering." But even with CDC involvement, Morgellons sufferers like Smith are still frustrated that they haven't been asked for their input. Smith, for his part, says he has offered to ship his own properly prepared Morgellons specimens to the CDC for review, but claims the agency "blew it off." OK Am I the only one that see's red flags all over the place here?? Here are my thoughts on this.

If you read the attached letter that Gerberding sent to senator graham, she stated that the cdc encourages samples taken properly and stored under correct conditions. Notice that this letter is at least one and a half years old. That is how long I have had the copy for. So it is possibly considerably older. They encouraged this and stated that none had been recieved. Close to 2 years later and after contact by god only knows how many sufferers, the cdc is finally set to launch a study. Good news to sufferers but truly a strong indication of sloppy oversight of the publics health and well being on the part of the cdc. RED FLAG I mean really, what the hell have they been doing this whole time except scaring the hell out of us all with bird flu, bird flu. 24/7 bird flu and it has not even been detected in the states yet. RED FLAG People from all fifty states have contacted them about an illness that IS HERE NOW, FOR MORE THAN 2YEARS!!!!!! AND THEY ARE JUST NOW STARTING A STUDY??????!!!!!! BRIGHT RED FLAG The appointment choice of one of CDC's best, most seasoned and experienced information specialists, Dan Rutz, to be the Media contact about this illness, is a big indicator of a way bigger story than the appointment of a lower level, less experienced info specialists would have sent. RED FLAG There is something very very wrong with this picture, and because of this history i fail to be to encouraged by this study with already stated goals by Dan Rutz as "We really need to debunk this." BIG RED FLAG This study group began to appear to be nothing but lip service the minute he made this statement. Since the announcement of this study beginning, NOT ONE of the long time infected people, to my knowledge and inquiries, have been contacted by the CDC. With who and how does this group from the cdc propose to start this study.
