Early Assessment Program (EAP)

The EAP helps high school students meet college readiness standards in English and mathematics. Exams are optional and are given in the spring of the 11th grade as part of the required California Standards Tests (CSTs). Eleventh graders will be notied of testing dates by their schools. Benefits of participating in the EAP portion of the CST are: 1. Students may be exempt from the English and Math placements exams, by receiving a qualifying score; 2. Identify the need for additional preparation in English and math to succeed at the CSU while still enrolled in high school; 3. Adjust senior-year coursework to prepare for the CSU; and 4. Avoid spending time and money in college remediation courses that do not count toward a bachelors degree.

CSU ADMISSION Eligibility Index

GPA is calculated using grades earned in the A-G courses taken in the 10th-12th grades. All students should submit ACT or SAT Reasoning Test (RT) results regardless of grade point average.

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fee, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees.

NOTE: Below 2.00 does not qualify for regular admissions. GPA is calculated using grades earned in A-G courses taken in the 10th-12th grades. SAT Reasoning Test (RT) Score=(Combination of Mathematics and Critical Reading Sections).
