Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks incident involving the Montogomery Bus Boycott credited being factor that started civil rights movement in the United States of America 1st December 1955. Born 4th February 1913 Famously known as the first lady of civil rights and the mother of the freedom movement. In America both February 4th her birthday and December 1st are known in California and Ohio United States of America as Rosa Parks day Born into a coloured family Suffered much of her childhood due to segregation She once said in an interview she exsisted one day to the next and it was just a matter of survival because she didnt have any civil rights She remembers going to sleep as a girl hearing the Klu Klux clan going lynching Part of the NAA She says she acted fearlessly in protest as her whole life she was scared due to the issues

Why it was effective. It was effective because it was a form of slient process that didnt harm or affect anyone in a negative way It was a small step that led to big changes in American History Gave equal opportunites to all people living in America Changed from the NAACP not making big changes to the segregation to the eventual speech by Martin Luther King
