Procedure
Teacher checks homework first. Ss read their homework and correct it if necessary Ss are asked to identify the techniques and tips in writing a story description of people, description of buildings, participles at the beginning of sentences, a variety of verbs. The teacher tells Ss that they are going to read a fragment taken from a short story. Hey try to predict the main idea of the story using its title and the last sentence. Ss are asked to read the fragment and then to complete a set of statements about the text.
