Flex Pin:
This flex pin is used to secure Hensley C-19 and
C-29 stake type adapters to the lip. The pin is
designed to stay flush with the top and bottom of
the lip without having to bend tabs or constantly
maintain a two piece spool and wedge assembly.

These positive locking fasteners are used to attach

adapters to zipper style lips. The C-Clamp installs
first, wrapping around the adapter "legs" for a secure
fit. The wedge is then driven in to lock the assembly
securely onto the lip.

KEY

This one-piece locking device is used to attach

to protrude slightly (1" or less) on newer noses.
The wedge should install flush
on older worn noses.

Insert Bolt. Insert common 5/16"x4-1/2" hex head bolt into hole in the
bottom (see Fig. A). Hammer bolt in between the spool & wedge to
separate serrated edges. (Note: bolt diameter of 5/16" is
crucial for disengaging serrated edges of spool
and wedge.)
