Week 6 - 10
GSS1.8 Outcome
Performs fundamental movement skills with equipment in minor games
Basic dynamic stretching warm-up Warm up run (1km/3 laps) Neck rotations Shoulder rolls (forwards and backwards) Hip rotations Alternating toe touches Full body circles Ankle rotations Lay down in a star position, sit up and reach forward as far as you can (infants hold approx. 7 secs. / Primary 15-20 secs.) repeat

4 Rotational Activities
Obstacle course - gross motor skills Bean bag toss - eye hand coordination Underhand throw and catch (start close, pass back and forth x5, then take step apart continue until ball is dropped Skipping - forward in one spot / moving while skipping Relays (leapfrog, crab walk, bear walk, forward/backward running) improves mobility, coordination, core strength Ladder drills high knees, fast feet, one leg / two leg hopping (speed, coordination, leg strength)
2 Rotational Activities
Obstacle course 4-Corner soccer Netball (Shooting, passing) Passing drills netball (Chest pass standing, then step) Passing drills soccer (kicking to partner) Relays baton passing Oz tag wear tear-away flags
Tag games
Crows and Cranes / Rabbits and Roosters Cone flippers Ship, Shark, Shore Snatch Go, go, go, STOP!
