COURSE D ES CR IPTION
Students will use skills accumulated and honed in the previous three years of language and literature study to fully engage in literature of the British tradition. The works, which are chronologically covered, will begin in the Anglo-Saxon and Medieval period and end in the present day, with postmodern works. Pieces from the Renaissance will be given particular attention, and students will also read works from: the 17th Century; the 18th Century and Romantic periods; the Victorian era; and the 20th Century.
