Sir We would like to draw your kind attention towards the following issues regarding "Hostel Mess". 1. Menu of mess has not been updated /changed since last year. There is urgent need of changing the menu. Quality of food items is degrading day by day and since last month quality has been constantly below par. 2. The food items are too oily, spicy and sometimes half cooked. Nearly half of the students are not eating the mess meals due to the poor quality of food. 3. Students are facing health issues due to intake of food items in mess. Lot of students have complained about vomiting tendency, nausea and other disorders after consuming food. 4. Despite being fully residential course and hectic schedule, we are not having facility of night mess. There is urgent need of either opening new canteen that will be open during night hours or existing mess has to be opened during night hours for at least tea and noodles. 5. Hygiene of mess is another issue that need attention. Cleaning staff are not at all bothered about cleanliness of mess hall. As we have already discussed these issues with SAO sir in month of august but it seems inspite of his assurance nothing has happened. There has been constant complain about quality of food, shortage of food and other issues. Feeling of dissatisfaction is constantly increasing among inmates of hostel and lot of people have stopped taking food in mess and prefers outside food. These problems are getting chronic and urgently needed to be resolved. Regards CIMP-AAHAAR
