The most memorable part for this experience is learning the firstaid techniques.

The learning process for the techniques was quite amusing, with volunteers putting themselves on awkward situations. However, these techniques have a significant importance to me, as these skills will certainly be used later in my life, be it on a family member, or a patient in the emergency room. It empowers me to have the ability to save other peoples lives. The tree-planting experience reminded me of my high school fieldtrips, giving me a sense of nostalgia on the fieldwork. Even though the individual actions I did on the community are minimal, when we take into consideration the number of students who also participated in the tree-planting, we are creating a noticeable impact on the local community. With the plantation of trees, it reduces the risk of landslides in the area, and the trees would one day provide the locals agricultural products such as coffee beans. With these products, the locals would be able to earn a living by selling them. In the wider aspect, the tree planting would gives us a chance to combat climate change and global warming, as the increased number of trees would help absorb the excess greenhouse gases on the atmosphere.
