I. OBJECTIVES: A. At the end of the discussion, the students will be able to: 1. Know how to raise their hands while waiting; 2. Pronounce the sentences written in the story book and; 3. Understand the importance of raising their hands II. CONTENT (Topic): Reading (story on how to raise their

hands)
III. INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: - Handouts - Social Story for Children with disabilities IV. PROCEDURE:

Discussion- The teacher will give the proper way of how to raise your hand while waiting for your turn to be called and will then begin her formal discussion using the IMs mentioned above. V. EVALUATION: The teacher will call students randomly and let that student recite in front of the class about the topic being discussed. EXCELLENT VERY GOOD

VI. ASSIGNMENT: The student will make their own mini book of social story (anything they want) and submit it next meeting.

In this activity, I was able to realize that Instructional Materials are really helpful for my future students because it does not only catch the attention of the child but also it supports on what topic youre going to discuss in the class. In my case, Im an Education student whose specialization is SpEd. For me, dealing and teaching with a child who has special need is difficult to handle especially when they do not have the same disability/special needs and its not easy so therefore I must have this strategic planning on how to deal with them effectively and one way of achieving this is to really make or have an instructional material that best suit in their needs. And also Instructional materials are good to use in any of the classroom setting.
