Students will participate in an activity where they will have to identify the type of QAR question being asked after listening to The Story or Ruby Bridges being read online. I used the web-based tools Screen-Cast-O-Matic and my Weebly website. I address the needs of diverse learners by including visuals (pictures and videos) and auditory (reading aloud of stories). The lesson is organized and each component is shown and explained on my video. Students will use online tools and resources in order to problem solve on their activity. Students may listen to the story more than once if necessary. Students will use QAR guide to help answer questions on their comprehension sheet. Three videos are included in my lesson (screencast, Youtube video on additional QAR information, and the video on The Story of Ruby Bridges). Images are used throughout my powerpoint.
