Courtney Nichols Self-Critique September 16, 2013 After reading over chapters 16 and 17 in Passing the PPR TExES

Exams for EC-12 Teachers, I have learned some really great test taking strategies. What I really like about the strategies is you can use them for different tests, some of which I can later implement in my classroom. When practicing the questions for competencies 009, 012, and 013, I really felt like the dot strategy as well as the Dog and Star strategy really helped me get through the questions. I used the Dog and Star method on every question and had to put a dot on questions 27 and 38. The only answer I did not get right was question 27, but I did not understand part of the content in the question, which makes it very hard to answer.
