AFFIDAVIT
I, AQUINO H. BAARES, of legal age, Filipino, single, and a resident of #8 Bonn Avenue, cor. Oslo Street, Capital Homes Subdivision, Quezon City, after having been sworn in accordance to law, do hereby depose and state: 1. I am the owner of a parcel of land with an area of 1,659.11, more or less, covered by Tax Declaration No. ARP No. 1-96-05-006-0326. 2. On 25 April 2003, I sold the above-mentioned parcel of land, as well as a parcel of land covered by TCT No. T-52521, as evidenced by Deed of Absolute Sale in favor of Real Estate Investors, Inc. (REII). 3. The parcel of land covered by ARP No. 1-96-05-006-0326 is adjacent to the titled property, TCT No. T-52521. 4. To my knowledge, these parcels of land are presently occupied by informal/illegal settlers. However, these informal settlers, such as Angeles Medenilla and Yolanda Cachopero know that I am the owner of the untitled land covered by Tax Declaration No. ARP No. 1-96-05-006-0326. 5. Moreover, my [previous] ownership of the said untitled parcel of land is publicly known in our community, Brgy. Central, Casiguran, and this can be affirmed by councilors Ligaya Habal, Rico Hatoc, and Dennis Escudero. 6. I am executing this affidavit to attest to the truth of the foregoing and to support REIIs claims against the defendants in Civil Case No. 379. 7. Affiant further sayeth naught. AQUINO H.
