The Treasure Hunting -

Treasure Hunt is synonym with excitement! On 4th September 2013, the English Department has organized an exciting game called Treasure Hunt. Treasure Hunt is a game which involves two or more players who try to find hidden articles, locations by using a series of clues. The game took place all around the common building all over IPG Kampus Bahasa Melayu. Participated by all PISMP Semester 2 trainee teachers, a great game which everyone has been waiting for. It was everyone favourite game! The game took place at 8am in the morning, starting with the opening ceremony which had officially launched by the Director of IPG Kampus Bahasa Melayu, Datin Siti Hanifah binti Madarsa. The gimmick took place with a treasure hunt box with a map inside it. The game took place with 6-7 stations that need to be find based on the clue to solve the questions. The treasure hunting activity provide more than just a fun discovering fascinating locations. All group manage to knew well the locations based on the clue given. They rewarded with good team work, and require many of the skills necessary to succeed in business, or in life. The game took place for almost 3-4 hours for everyone to reach their ending point. The game ran smoothly without any physical injuries occurred during the activity. It was an enjoyable moment for those who took part in it. None in such any days can be heard everyone speaking English a lot except for the day! Each group did do their best to win. Treasure hunt is an active way for an individual to enhance their English language skills. Vary the types of activities, and the vocabulary used, to increase the learning. Adjusting directions, vocabulary has been made to ensure the use of the treasure hunt activity based on ones abilities. The game conducted offers an intense, challenging experience, a simultaneous intellectual and aerobic workout that draws out each players knowledge and personality. Its a great social ice-break!
