After analysing various Digipaks and album covers I have decided that an Idea that I could attempt is to produce

something heavily influenced by Ewen Spencers work with the streets. He shot the photography for the albums; a grand dont come for free and Original pirate material.

The emphases of the covers are the outdoor photography of which I have analysed in previous posts. Obviously the bus stop and block of flats do not fit in with the genre of my band and our final vision. So I intend to use certain principles and convention used here such as the emphasis on outdoor photography, the rule of thirds and the minimal text. My plan is to photograph Ellie (the female member of the band) stood at the front/side of a church, similar to the picture of Skinner in a bus stop. Then to place the album name, and band name in the top left hand side, potentially with a band logo/icon (minimal church outline). As For the back cover (track list) I plan to create something influenced by those of a grand dont come for free and Original pirate material. Again, I will not be going for a scruffy look or a stereotypically working class British look, like that of the Streets. But I plan to replace the ashtray with a bible and smarten up the mise en scene and layout in order to conform with the vibe and direction of my band.
