I have recently completed a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education from Monash University in Peninsula. I also hold a current working with Children Check, Police Check, First Aid/CPR Certificate, Anaphylaxis Certificate, Asthma management Certificate and Victorian Drivers Licence/Own reliable vehicle. My teaching experience includes seven years working as a room leader in different early childhood settings, where I was responsible for programming. This included extensive liaising with parents to determine the childrens needs. I dropped down to causal work during the last twelve months whilst completing my course. During my experience in working in different childcare setting I have had the opportunity to work in different rolls that have further developed my skills as a leader and teacher. I have developed and extended my skills in programming activities suitable for 0-5 year olds according to developmental stage/childrens interests, program evaluation and parent liaison. In addition, I am trained in the 0-8 age group and I have completed the practical components of my studies in Early Childhood Centres, Occasional Care Centres, Outside School Hours Centres and both Infants and Primary schools. Qualified Child Care Worker Upgraded to Manger of Creche I was employed as qualified child care worker and my roll was upgraded to the manager of the crche within a couple of months. I enjoyed my job at the gym. My co-workers and I worked well together and we were all disappointed when the gym shut down. My roll as the manager required me to organize the booking and making sure police and produces were up to date.
2009 Youth Minisrty Austraila

Volunteer over sea trip to Thailand In March 2009, I went on a short term mission trip to Thailand for two and a half weeks with eight other leaders. Leading up to our trip we had a meeting once a month this involved team building exercise and planning team schedule. Partnering with some Thai leaders, we ran a youth camp over there for 70 children. Our roll was to connect a share our life experience with the children. We also got the opportunity to see how the Thai child care centres are operated. This was an awesome experience that has challenged and grown me in many areas. This trip confirmed my love and passion to work with children.

Qualified Room Leader My postion has changed over the years from a full time room leader to a casul lunch relever when I went back to uni to do my BECS. Over the time I have been there my responsibilities included programming activities, supervising co-workers and caring for the children. In June 2006, I was given the opportunity to traveled to Dung Guan in China accompanied by three fellow students studying the Diploma of Childrens Services, to work in a Kindergarten. While we were there we had a chance to teach daily English classes and to see how Kindergartens are run in another country and to experience other culture. INTERESTS

Having grown up in a large family, I have always enjoyed looking after children. I have really enjoyed been an aunty and spending time with my nephews. I am enthusiastic and I believe that there is always something new that you can learn from working with children. I have found this so true as I contuine to be amazed by what my nephews have learnt or the stage of development they have achieved. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity I have had to experience different cultures and child care facilities in other countries, such China and Thailand. Ive had this passion to work with children and young people as far back as I can remember. My other interests include music (I play the guitar), soccer, camping and dirt bike riding. I also enjoy organizing young adults events at my church, leading with the church youth group and hosting dinner party.
