HOW TO CREATE DESKTOP SHORTCUTS FROM YOUR H DRIVE

WHY BOTHER? So all files are safe in your H Drive, where they cant be lost if comp crashes!

1. Open your H DRIVE (see How to Save Files to Your H Drive document for step-by-step directions)

2. Open the FILE or FOLDER that you want to create a SHORTCUT for 3. Once you locate the desired File or Folder, RIGHT CLICK it 4. Select SEND TO on the Drop-down Menu

5. Next, select DESKTOP (Create Shortcut) from the sub-menu

6. Go back to your DESKTOP A SHORTCUT of the File or Folder that you selected is now there! FYI: A shortcut File or Folder will have a blue arrow symbol in the lower left corner, signifying that it is a SHORTCUT (see pics below)
