Daffodil Garden Club 2013 CHRISTMAS WREATH CONTEST RULES

1. Wreaths must: be decorated by the PERSON or GROUP submitting the entry must be original, one-of-a-kind be any size up to 24 inches in diameter must be made of live/organic evergreens, plants. must have a bow (NOT REQUIRED TO BE LIVE/ORGANIC) No colorant may be applied. Wreaths may be single or double faced. They will be judged either hanging on a wall or on an easel. . Securely tied to each wreath will be a blank envelope sealed, containing the entry form below that list makers name, address and telephone number. Group entries must identify a point of contact.

Ribbons will be placed on winning entries immediately following judging on December 4, 2013. Award Ribbons in each category will be BLUE - first, RED second, and WHITE - third. 2. Entries must be completed and delivered to Ann Dowling Rudd Art Center, 109 E Court Square Ozark, AL; December 2-3, 2013 during the hours of 3-6 P.M. Winners will be announced Wednesday, December 4. 3. Only one entry per person/group will be accepted. 4. All entries will be exhibited at Ann Dowling Rudd Art Center 5. Entries will be judged on workmanship use of materials creativity originality 6. Entries will be judged for first, second and third place by a panel of judges, and winners will be announced. Winning wreaths (1st, 2nd and 3rd) will be displayed at the awards presentation. Following the presentation, wreaths will be released to the persons that entered them*. The names of all wreath entrants will be displayed following judging. Decisions of the Judges are final. CONTEST ENTRY CATEGORIES: YOUTH Individuals OR Group Ages (11yrs. & under) ADULT Individuals OR Group 18 yrs. and older

JUNIOR Individuals OR Group Ages (12-17 yrs.)

*Wreaths may be sold with 15% of the selling price made as a donation to Dale County Council on the Arts and Humanities (DCCAH)
